I bought a commonsense lipo for my hitec TX and it works great just have to remove to charge it with my lipo charger

The vibration sounds like your prop is out of balance ,plus that motor mount looks like it only has 2 screws you may want to beef up the motor mount area?

I have an optic 6 and also treat it as a radio ie with care. I also use a tx tray which helps protect it and make it easier to use for long flight times

THe ESC always goes to chan 3 on RX it supplies the batteryand controls the speed from chan 3 of your TX . Make sense I hope?

If this is a low wing plane turn it upside down to balance it
If it a top wing do it rifgt side up.
Try taping on a 1/2 os weight near the tale and try a
test flight

Wrap the servo tape packing or what ever- then glue servo in place
When you need to remove servo just cut tape off the servo.
Large heat shrink also works.
Blenderm tape ( from a pharmacy also...

The ESC is an (Electric Speed Control), It connects to your Battery and to the motor throttle channel on the receiver ( usually chan 3 ) it also supplies the voltage to run the servos

Mike,
Measure the voltage of the batt-- 2 cell should read 7.4v
You may need to slow charge .5 amp the batt and see if that brings the batt back up to a full charge.

I have been told that a good rule thumb is a motor rating of a 100 watts per 1 pound on plane weight including battery and electronics. That would be a place to start

You should use Epoxy designed for foam.
I have taken fiberglass cloth and cover an area and then applied a light coat of foam safe CA and it works great.
Hope this helps as I have ruined...
