So are you saying that the 91 must be mounted inverted? Or can I mount with valve cover facing side of cowl. If so, it doesn't look like it will stay within the cowl

Hey guys,

Just to clarify, will the OS 91 four stroke fit completely within the cowl? The head won't stick out? Is this correct?

How did you get the throttle cable connected to the throttle arm since the arm is on the opposite side on the FL-70. Can you show some pics of how you did it? I have the same engine...

Wow!! I used 11 oz. of lead to achieve CG at 70 mm. This plane is tail heavy!! But it looks good now. I'll post pics soon before the maiden.

What type of weight did you use on the firewall? Was it the self adhesive lead strips that you get at the LHS. Let me know.

I am using an OS FL 70 four stroke. The rocker cover sits well out of the cowl & the cowl has to be trimmed to accomodate some of the cooling fins on the top of the engine. It doesn't look bad, but...

How did you synchronize your flaps with your radio. Did you "mix" them (master & slave)on the radio or did you hardwire both flaps with a y-harness?

What size gap did you maintain from you spinner backplate to front of cowl? I can't tell exactly from your pics.
