RE: DraganFlyer 5Ti Upgraded Landing gear and Nav Lights

WOW! ! ! This is really something. Thank you for taking the time to fully explain how to do it.

Just one thing - how does one keep a work table so neat? To get to your level, I would have to...

RE: DraganFlyer 5Ti Upgraded Landing gear and Nav Lights

Help me out.... The landing gear looks like nylon ties - are they? Also, where do they hook on to? I can see they are attached with wire twists to the struts, but the picture did not show the other...

RE: New DF rotors are almost here!!!

Thanks Koop, I ordered some today.

Interesting point, RC lists them as Virtually Indestructible. So, why then do they send 6?

RE: New Micro SAVS DF VI!

The problem, as I see it, is the pictures will be really, really small.

RE: RCToys.com?

Just to let you know...

MicroDrone advised me that they are working on a new model with higher payload. They did't give me any date nor price. My guess is the model will be larger so as to...

RE: DF competitor...

I checked with them. The unit starts at 9,900 euros, which I think is 11,800 dollars or so.

My guess is that it is a DF with sharpened CF blades sent to Iraq.

RE: New DF rotors are almost here!!!

What a great review - thank you.

Just one question; as the new rotors have more lift, what is the new payload?

RE: Draganfly Chat

If you would crash, then there is no place for me. After all, you are a real pilot while I am an outstanding crasher.

RE: Draganfly Chat

I checked with Mike at DF regarding the UAV. Told it STARTS at $10,000 for the basic and goes up! This really cools my interest.

There are other UAV's out there for around $15k that are even...

RE: Draganfly Chat

After breaking a board support, I decided to try to add stabilization by replacing the main rods with ones that are 50% longer. I am keeping the cross supports the same distance from the circuit...

RE: Draganfly Chat

Scott, I agree with your thoughts and DO miss the old approach.

I, too, took the DF up for the first time since the fall. I used the TI mode and went up about 300 feet where the wind took...

RE: Draganflyer V Ti Pro Aerial POV Video

Perhaps someone could assist me regarding viewing the video that Sky posted. When I click on the link, a new window opens, but no video. The window just shows "done".

RE: Draganflyer V Ti Pro Aerial POV Video

You'r right about the hand launch, regardless of what is advertised. From what I have read, a large wingspread (48"+) should lift more than the DF. Have not found a low cost film/digital camera yet,...
