okay what is magical about the half a tank mark... and yes I have noticed that if your engine isn't tuned right... half a tank is usually where you'll notice... so...

Okay then...

So the basic point is, I am testing the cooling features of the engine ( heat sink... engine heat sink mounts ) for there effectiveness as well.

Well, I was going to redo all the fuel tubing anyhow... I would prefer something with more transparency than what came in the box.

Hmmm... good place to start.

That explains a bit... It basically starves itself when the temp gets to high...

...but then why can I not reprime it? ( granted I have only attempted this...

Going down the list in breaking in the engine... ran two tanks at idle... no probs.

Now doing slow runs... and I keep hitting...
