That is a good note. I haven't had any signal issues, fades or holds with it in place. I tried the optical sensor and couldn't get any decent readings at all with it.

I have not had any rf issues. Without the choke, the tm1000 would lock up and stop working shortly after engine start. With the choke, it works just fine.

It took me about 10-12 flights to diagnose the overheat issue. It would just die at about 2:30 into each flight. Luckily I learned very quickly how to nail a dead stick landing with this bird.

Does your top flite p-51 really weigh 30 lbs? Mine was 19-20 with a dle-55ra. Just curious as to what could make the 10lb difference. My h9 came in about 28-28.5 ready to fly, dry.

8-10 minutes could be nearing fuel starvation with the stock fuel tank as well, but the plug was probably the issue. I have my timer set for 7 min which leaves plenty of fuel for a go around or two...
