good job brod, I'm not running it until next wed, this motor starts in 2-3 pulls, it still needs break in, the carb is mod 257, everything seems ok just waiting for hit the water again for the video.

Brod, how's your back feel? just installed a longer rudder blade on my rigger to reduce the prop walk, will take it to the pond next week.

all the engines have their own specs for regarding their HP and RPM, diff prop, pipe, carb setting, strut height would effect the RPM reading, you might consult Bonzi for your concern.

No offense coyv10, I have a mod 260 have been running in my cat for 2.5 years now never changed any parts very suprise me and it still running not bad, you might check this video out and forget about...

I know that sucks brod that only last for 2 minutes then broke, just made a new one, its construction is pretty strong, should run more then 2 minutes in next time, hey brod lets race with this...

Brod, I went to the lake today but no luck for the video, this zen7 rigger ran for about 2 minutes then this pipe's holder was broke off, couldn't fix nothing over there. Just purchased a 1/16" thick...

Kev, I would then use the auto body filler to fill up that uneven area on the outside of the damaged of area, then use a 300 grit sand paper to scrub it smooth.

Kev, I would first bend a piece of 1/16" thick of alum sheet, its shape is same as that big damaged part of your boat, then fit it to the damaged area from the inside of the cat, then use epoxy,...

it can be fixable. yup, that looks like a shark bite your cat then it felt that wasn't the meat so won't bite the second time.

You might check this stock 260 out, can't go wrong with it, I have 3 of these mod 260 in my boats, which are Zen7, hornet and American, they are running real fast and reliable..
