SWEET!!! That looks awesome! I think the easiest thing would be to make a dome out of flat foam circles/rings glued together and hollowed out as already mentioned. I cant wait to see it when its done!

Here is how to make the airfoil wings quick and easy. Just glue the curved tips together and sand them a bit....

Regular styrofoam as a gap filler would be fine as long as you use your foam safe CA. There are other things you could use but the styrofoam would be best to keep it light. Let us know how yours...
