nice, here is mine with a brushless system i just installed the rear CVD's and metal front steering links, im not too happy with the steering links they have some slop but the CVD's are awsome

you can also use a speed control fron an airplane or chopper there are sone very tiny ones out there that will work, but you wont have reverse

look around you should be able to find a servo cheaper than the hs50 that is the same size when i was looking i think the hs50 is about $20

yep, thats the one im using, remember you will also need a new servo, an hs50 drops right in when you remove the tabs, i found a generic one on ebay that was the same size and works fine, and for $6...

i also have an aluminium rear bumper, gear case, CVD's, and wheelie bar on the way. You WILL need a wheelie bar!!

here is what i used
thunderbird 9 esc works great
hs50 servo, all you have to do is trim the tabs off
feiagao 12x22 motor. some enlarging of the holes on the motor mount/plate is required.

got my lipo/brushless set up in and running...all i have to say is HOLY COW!!!!!!!!! The throttle is nice and smooth much better than the stock motor and i still havent adjusted the speed control yet...

holy crap..i got my lipo and brushless set up yesterday and apperently the battery i ordered is an 11.1 volt.....and it sort of fits. Ill pst pics when im done, this thing is going to be too fast

Those are foams for an xray M18, they slip right over the stock micro t wheels once you flip them around

as i stated in an earlier post the hs50 is a drop in once the tabs are cut off.

or you can just get an hs50 and trim the tabs on the servo it will drop in

mine had this issue i resoldered a new antenna and now its fine. i found the copper in the old one had broken from flexing all the time
