The engine thrust line should already be built into the plans, you may not notice it cuz it's very slight but it is built into the plans. If you follow the plans you should be able to just Mount your...

RE: BTE's new Venture 60 kit

Can't wait to get another one and see what other experiments I can do on it. I already shortened the wing and took out about 1/2 the dihedral and it flies amazing. Even with one elev half off and the...

RE: Hits and Misses of H-9 Corsair

As long as the tanks centerline is lined up with the carb correctly it should be fine. If you can move the engine mount in the slots on the firewall i would just to make it right.

RE: Hits and Misses of H-9 Corsair

As long as you mounted the engine flush to the firewall the thrust line should be ok unless it was repaired and not don't properly. One way you can check to see if you have a thrust issue is first to...

RE: NEW H9 P51 Mustang 60 ARF

If you are comparing the. 75AX to the Saito 1.25, power output is higher on the OS on paper but the Saito 1.25 is by far more powerful. I am a huge fan of both motors and fly both on a regular...

RE: Hits and Misses of H-9 Corsair

The .82 would be a great fit. You'll love that corsair it comes with a very nice hatch that gives you easy access to everything. The one I flew had the fuel dot and air for retracts inside the hatch...

RE: Hits and Misses of H-9 Corsair

I don't think there is alot of difference between the. 91 & 1.00. it may be slightly heavier. I wouldn't think there would be a problem with it if it fits.

RE: Hits and Misses of H-9 Corsair

That's too bad, sorry to here it. Mine is on extended leave as the horizontal fins are broke at the fuselage. Thinking of getting a new fuse and stabs but am also considering the TF corsair as well...

RE: NEW H9 P51 Mustang 60 ARF

You are definitely right as far as this flies more like the real thing. I maddened one for a fella last fall and it would no doubt flip over if given half a chance. I flew it like I stole it, in...

RE: NEW H9 P51 Mustang 60 ARF

I have quite a few Saito's including 2-1.25's. In my experience with them they will all puke oil out of the carb if not tuned properly, especially when they are inverted slightly. To see that much...

RE: NEW H9 P51 Mustang 60 ARF

I know a few guys who have used them in the past and they loved them. Good power and easy to tune.

RE: Senior telemaster engine?

I have an ARF and I had to add 11oz to the nose with an EVO.46 in it to get it to balance. It was used but there wasn't anything done to the original airframe. Weird how they can go from one extreme...

RE: Hits and Misses of H-9 Corsair

I have quite the dilemma, the Corsair is my wifes plane as she loves the Corsair and she wouldn't let me sell it after I won it. Turned out to be my favorite to fly due to performance and nothing...

RE: Hits and Misses of H-9 Corsair

I agree with you 100%.. I also got one that had very little, if any, glue around the firewall or LG area. I had done enough research after I won this at a local warbird event that i knew I had better...

RE: Hits and Misses of H-9 Corsair

I never really had tipping issues before I added the CJ's. I had Lado electrics in it prior to those. I usually set my CG so that my planes are slightly nose down when balancing. I have seen this...

RE: Tiger 60 Build Thread

Have you run the DLE20 yet. I had a Saito 1.25 and the vibrations were quite a bit for the airframe and the DLE20 will probably be no exception. It seems the small the cc on gas the worse the...

RE: Hits and Misses of H-9 Corsair

RE: Power15 cutting out

I was running a 25c battery in mine and it actually needed a 30c. No more problems since I changed it.
