Thanks for the reply. Actually, the tank wasn't dirty. Just cleaned out old fuel when I put on new hoses. No I didn't clean the carb yet(knock self on head). I was hopiing to find out...

Trex 450S was my first electric heli. I love it. Great flyer easy on parts. Big following lots of advice and will keep parts cost low and abundent.

You are correct...however, when the tail servo is no correctly adjusted w/ the gyro you MAY get uneven left right tail control. I have heard questions about uneven piroette rates...

Yup all the head parts are the same they are just black plastic. I would recommend you to buy the metal upgrades to replace you old plastic pieces. They are a little more expensive...

The HS81MG is a great budget servo for the tail. I highy reccomend it. I one on both my S and SE...it works well witht the telebee gyro also. I do hard sport flying and am learnign 3D...loops...

The S has all the metal upgrades(except the tailcase).

the only difference between the two helis are the servo's. The S has cheap ss100's and...

I'm sure its possible with an FP heli....but, you really need the collective to pull them off clean. Especially if you are trying flips.

Loops just require forward flight..the faster you fly the faster your inputs need to be.

Or just get up real high (as high as you can safely judge orientation) and do a flip. The higher you go...

I personally don't use loctitie on my motor screws.

I do check them alot though...I would hate to have one backout in flight...(mayday,mayday...were going in....splat!)
