Take a look at the A123 batts from hypersonic... I made the switch earlier in the summer and have them in all my planes now. 6.6v 2300mah, Faster, lighter, better discharge curve, mine...

I cut the rudder servo tray out, moved it back one section. Built a light ply tank tray and mounted a 16oz under the wing tube. If you're running glow, it's too small, but you could run dual tanks...

I'm ordering a DL50 for it... low budget, good thrust, good weight. Just makin' some small mods to the fuse for a different tank etc. pretty good build so far though. Thanks for the input.

well... finally got the maiden launch today.

ran the first tank pretty rich just so i couldnt push it too hard. Second tank was leaned out a fair amount, it had some serious speed at full...

I have a Funtana and it's great man... and where i am it's a lot cheaper to replace than the wild hare too...


But if budget isn't a big concern i would go for the edge, the little bigger...

How does it handle at full throttle? have you suffered any stress fractures yet? and what's your flight time with the std. tank and that engine?
