RE: South Texas IMAC Shootout

From here in El Paso, Tucson is only 4 1/2 hours away, Houston is 12 hours away. With gas at $3.00 / gal, I think I will go to Tucson to have my butt kicked on a budget!

RE: Shootout First Day

Wayne, I told Dave of your kind words and he said "He should quit sucking up, I won't build him a plane!". He was smiling when he said it.

You will also want to check the contest schedule for the North Central region on the IMAC website. People at contests are always ready to help new pilots.

RE: Looking for a plane

The Aeroworks 31% Edge 540 would be perfect. It is reasonably priced and flies great. Unfortunately, it is out of stock.

RE: Abilene IMAC June 5th

The Extra has a ZDZ 80 for power. I am very happy with the performance and it was $500 less than a DA. I am using Hitec Digital servos with a Futaba radio.
