I have flown the ST with no dihedral. Performs a bit better but still just a big lazy ol' bird. Be sure to add about 15% more rudder surface for effective rolls and landing control.

I have the sr telemaster. Can't say enough for it. Just plain love the plane. Bombays, oversized control surfaces and big 4 stroke power. No flaps. dont need them.

The picture does not show the full area you can use for servos but you might want to look it over and see if you can mount the servo in a position to give you a straight shot to the nose gear lever....
