RE: My MAMBA will not stop thermaling!!!

It depends on what rig you're running it in and what your tires are and what your gearing is. Temps around 180 F are normal, but any higher and I'd recommend you drop your pinion down a tooth or two.

RE: will stock mini t radio work

That RX looks cheesy but it should work with matching crystals. I'm using a stock Mini-T TX with a fatuba 27 mhz am RX.

RE: Novak SPY question

It runs a Beast Raptor V2 (17 turn mini-mod) in my sons RC18MT just fine. Should be able to run the Losi motor with no problems if it's geared right.

RE: RC18mt wheel and tires ?

The stock RC18MT 10/60 gears will work great. I use them for my MT and 1:10 TC tires.

RE: 7 cells in RC18MT

Stock RC18T gears are 14/55 and the MT are 10/60. For the smaller tires I recommend the 14/55 with the stock motor.

RE: has trinity leard?

Looks like a RC18 clone to me, and those turnbuckles look cheesier than the mini-t's. The shock towers don't look very strong either. On a plus side, the servo can't be much worse than AE or TLs.

RE: RC18T or RC18MT??

I have the MT which I have changed to T size tires for indoor carpet racing. The differences between the T and MT are-
1. Gears, the T comes with 14/55 I believe.
2. Body.
3. Chassis gear...

RE: Does this mean my motor is dead?

Sounds alot like diff problems with the noise from the rear. This might sound silly but its a good way to test them. Normaly I hold one end on the ground and give it some throttle, then try the other...

RE: aluminum chassis

I got the Outcast horizon for my son's mini-t and it is NICE! It's 3/8" longer than stock and does help with stability, but there were a few bugs in mine. He's since worked out the bugs and was VERY...

RE: gearing question

I've read about people trying to use 10/5X gears and they have had to mod thier motor plate to get enough play to get the pinion to mesh right. Personaly I like the 10/60 gears with MT size tires.

RE: My shocks leak oil

On my rc18mt I use the GPM rc18 shocks for the local rough dirt track and for indoors I use the Racers Edge mini-t shocks and have had no problems with leaks. The RE shocks come with 4 different...

RE: Project: Repair and rebuild RC18MT!

Yup, those are the CVD's, they really are the best I've tried. I think the ASC on tower is for associated. I don't do alot of shopping on tower, haven't been too impressed with the few purchases I've...

RE: Project: Repair and rebuild RC18MT!

For CVD's I highly recommend the MIP, I've had no problems with them after destroying 3 aluminum ones. Yes you will still need the outdives and sleeves (if you stay stock or go Derlin, I assume you...
