All you need to do is put a piece of silicon fuel tube over the ratchet tensioner. Just open the back of the radio and you will see a silver tensioner that makes the stick ratchet. It's very simple....

It is better to have the ball on the bottom of the arm if you can make it work without hitting anything. There is more torsional stress on the arm and servo spline when on the top.
