yes , just be sure to get a 8 channel RX and you will be fine , i believe it is the 2801 RX

the 6 and 7 channel walkera RXs can only bind in 2601 mode
and may not give you access...

i just bopped out to the porch for a quick run , here are my results

the engine has had about 5 oz of fuel through it

i run 20 percent nitro cruel power with enough castor...

i have a friend in the UK that needs a ignition unit like the type BMCA sells , if i remember correctly they are sometimes refered to as ( chinese ignition units ? ) , it needs to be for a 10mm...

i think back when gyro's were mechanical it helped to have them close to the mast , but now that they are solid state it doesn't matter where you have them , as they are expensive it's a good...

i learned to fly on a tethered picolo in my living room , i just took a 7 cell rc car battery and made an extension cord out of speaker wire that had a plug on one end to match the battery...
