RE: rc aerochopper software ver 2.0

RC Aerochopper will only run on a DOS machine or the Windows 3.X with DOS. As far as I know it won't work with Windows 95 or later running the DOS emulator.

RE: RC Aerochopper software help needed

I think I have the original floppy for RC aerochopper somewhere around here, I'll look around but there is a possibility I tossed it into the garbage.
I paid $200 for that sim back in the day. Very...

RE: MicroHeli GFY! @#$%

I have had good luck with all the MicroHeli parts that I have purchased. I have a very hard time believing that the design is as bad as you claim.
Possibly a case of operator error by the sound of...

RE: Recievers?

The new Berg 7 is a very small RX ( 8 grams ). I just installed one but have not had
an opportunity to test it out yet.

If it works as advertised ( tall order for CC ) it may be a keeper. :)

RE: what about blades?

While the fiber blades are a poor choice for forward flight, they are an excellent
choice for a beginner learning to hover. They are a lot heavier than the wood blades,
which yields a stable...

RE: Is there a point?

While I agree that a 12C 2000+mah lipo is enough to power a Trex for a beginner. They probably will
not last as long as a higher "C" rated lipo. An ideal power system should not draw more than 50%...

RE: pinion keeps coming loose

Another option is to file a small flat on the motor output shaft. A dremel tool with a grinding stone also works.
It will never slip again ! ;)

RE: Tail rotor drive shaft too short?

The SE pitch slider allows full motion without binding. ( assuming your using the plastic XL pitch slider ).

:D

The NEW XL pitch slider has been redesigned with pivoting ball links.

RE: Trex on Grass

You can also add spacers between the frame and rear landing gear mount. This will tilt
the tail boom up.

RE: Do the Ferrite Rings work?

If your wiring is routed correctly, then no ferrite ring is needed. I'm running
an FM RX with no glitches in the last 100 flights.

12C will give you more flight time because there is a slightly lower voltage
