RE: DLA 112 PROBLEM

This is all rather interesting - but a bit moot to compare DLE, DLA and DA. I have an original DL50 (before it became a DLE) that has NEVER given me an issue. I aslo have a DA100 (original - not the...

RE: PILOT RC Extra 260

Thanks for sharing. The pilot RC Extra 260 is one of my favourite planes. I have the same set up with a DL 50 and canister. I love the way it sits ontop of your little car :D

RE: EME55 with DLE55 Crank Video

Amazing. Bit like "don't know why my battery died, been using it for 20 years without any problems". Still - it did entertain me for a bit.

RE: profile katana V2 46

I love this plane. I've had two of the Katana V2's and without a doubt they are a great profile 3D plane.
I've used both an OS46 and ASP61 4 stroke in them. The OS46 is better suited for the Katana...

RE: NitroPlanes False Advertising

Personally, I not sure why you would bother to post this threat prior to even speaking to them first. Ironically - you have taken the time to write this thread and threatened to take them to the FTC...

RE: Does this mean no maidens @ Sanctioned Event?

Jumping in late on this thread - but have I missed something here? The guy is asking to maiden a Park Zone foamy park flyer at an E fly in. Can he not just take it to a local footy field to try it...

RE: Greetings All! Once again I return to the source of experts. I wasn't to sure where to post this s

The attachment picture is only small, but in every instance a nose haevy plane will fly better than a tail heavy one. Most would surgest a CG of where the spar plugs in but try placing the CG around...

twin headers - single canaster

Hi. I'm in the middle of building an RC Pilot 106" Katana. I'm using a DA 100 with headers and MTW canisters. The canaster tunnel is quite narrow and it's a real struggle to fit the two canasters...

DA / DL observation

Hi Guys.
This is NOT a bash over brands - just an observation.

I am a user of both a DA100 and DL100 engines - both in 2.6 Mtr planes. I'm not an extreme 3D pilot, but do like to have a...

RE: Throttle servo glitching

Sounds like you are getting RF interference. Just check these few things:
NO metal to metal between the sero and throttle - always use nylon rod etc,
Make sure the cap is fixed tight over the...

RE: maiden the WM 29% Cap 232 yesterday

I think the problem is more a lack of airflow over the cylinder head. The 2 cut outs on either side of the spinner are effectivly useless for coolong the head. As stated - cut out a hole direcly...

RE: New DLE30 stalling

Nice install. Agree - change the plug for a start. It may also be ignition related.

RE: Goldwing SBACH 30cc

Had the maiden yesterday. Started with 80 gms i(2 oz) n the front and it flew well. Inverted was good and very little to no up elevator. Inverted 45 inclines were good as well and NO bad tendencies...

RE: Whats a warbird?

Firsty - the thread was started on RCU because - despite some confusion amoungst the warbird fraternity - we are still talking about RC planes here.

RE: Whats a warbird?

Actually - the biggest mistake was posting it at all.
The Extra 300 flies with the Chilean and Jordanian airforce's in training and demonstration roles - representing the respective airforce and...

RE: Whats a warbird?

Who said anything about vintage? I started this threat to ask, what I thought was a simple question "whats a warbird". My mistake. I should not have used the term "warbird" but instead used "military...

RE: Whats a warbird?

Plenty of info on the web. I would also agree - No 3D and keep it "real".

RE: Whats a warbird?

Prop wash - your missing the point here. The Extra 300's are flown by the chilean armed forces - and do have markings (well as much as any other armed force aerobatic team has). And yes - you can fly...
