RE: cold hands!

I never had flown in the cold, but I gave it a try the other morning when it was around 30 degrees f outside. I flew for about 25 minutes, and toward the end I was getting really uncomfortable. We...

RE: Mini P-51D from Horizon/Parkzone

I'm on my second Sukhoi now, and both have succumebed to issues with the linear servo motors. I'm typically carefull about when I fly, and how I fly, because I can't afford to be fixing my planes...

RE: Sukhoi Su-26M BNF by ParkZone

I've had two linear Servo motors burn out on this plane now. I talked to the Horizon product support folks and they tell me this has not been a big issue, so it just must be my flying :p Seriously...

RE: Mini P-51D from Horizon/Parkzone

I don't really care if it only brings the price down by a few dollars, I feel the same way about having another charger. I'll probably go buy there 4 port charger at some point, and then start...

RE: Sukhoi Su-26M BNF by ParkZone

I got the GP C.G. machine. I made another balancer today for my micros, used 2 old telescoping radio antennas off old airhog radios. Stuck them into a block of wood, seems to work fairly well, and...

RE: Sukhoi Su-26M BNF by ParkZone

Got my new balancer today, and it says, not for use with Models under two pounds. So yes, if someone would make a balancer for parkflyers and micros - I'd probably be interested. I've got 1 plane...

RE: Sukhoi Su-26M BNF by ParkZone

Here is some interesting news... I contacted Horizon via emailing product support, and they fully admit that the plane is nose heavy. To quote

"Thank you for your recent email. You are...

RE: Sukhoi Su-26M BNF by ParkZone

I just ordered that GP C.G. machine, hoping that it would be able to handle micros, is there some reason that will not work with micros? Forgive my nieveness, I just figured it would... I made a...

RE: Sukhoi Su-26M BNF by ParkZone

Mine rolls left as well, I programmed in some sub trim, and I have the left roll much less pronounced and manageable at this point. Wonder if its a wieght issue as well? I ordered a new scale and...

RE: Sukhoi Su-26M BNF by ParkZone

I went to the LHS, and looked for the servo motor, they didn't have them in stock, so he told me to contact HH's on Monday and see if they could help me out. He reasured me over and over that...

RE: Sukhoi Su-26M BNF by ParkZone

Well, I got my Sukhoi, and so far its been a love hate relationship. I love the airplane, but hate the balance issue. I broke a prop taxiing around on the sidewalk, and decided I'd better wait on...

RE: Shoe Goo and Multiplex Elapor

I've tried a new approach, but I haven't had to test it to see if its worked or not yet. I wrapped blue masking tape around the servo before gluing them to into my Easy Glider. The idea being that...
