Intending to change a 120 Saito Glow to Petrol & wondering re the compression ratio.Is it necessary & if so what is the best comp ratio to change to for petrol spark ignition.

My Wankle does all that they should do. Ie Uses fuel like nothing else .runs very nicely at revs but will only idle for a second or two then loads up & stops .I have the tank center in line...
