I've heard of BME & another one there who builds strong motors including twins can't recall the name at the moment, refresh my memory recall reading a long time back that the DA engines were a copy...

Reading up on the DLA their new crankcase is made from machined billet 7075...

The engines I listed are entry level price wise compared to DA's 3 Ws etc, but the DLE 30 I might look at.

Hi all,

Whats the prefered Fibreglass cloth in oz. for reinforcing strip on a wing centre join ? I'm doing
a high wing 74" trainer type wing , cant recall wether to use 4oz weight cloth or 6 oz ?

Giant Stik "gasser" Plans who sells them?

Hi,

Anyone know where I can get a set of Plans for a "Giant Stik" not one of the
1/3 scale types but a version suitable for a small gasser G23 , G38 etc..

Thanks guys,
I think the G38 has merits too especially for a Nosen Citabria, plus
the CDI seems the way to go on these if need be too.

I'm just after some recomendations on scratch building from Plans,
a Mitsubishi Zero or a P47 Thunderbolt in the 70~80" wingspan range,
to suit large 2 s or large 4 s motors.

A 1.20 F/S is pretty big for a 60" model correct?

though the short nose & final weight really dicate the motor size in the end,
seems like a F/S around 90~~~1.20 maybe the answer[&o]

Ok , so far OS 61, 91 fs & electric:)
the RCV sounds interesting, but these are a expensive motor correct?

any more motor suggestions please ( Brand & size)[:o]
