for a small race mono like yours it will do better with more rpm and less torque, a 231 is exactly that.. more rpm and less torque than a 260, im not sure how much difference there is though,...

from what i have read the wyk-33 carbs bolt up, but the pop off pressure needs to be adjusted, they need a custom metal drum because the plasitc ones wear out quick, and aslo the venturi needs boring

mart is exactly right, waste of money

the wyk carbs flow the most air but need a lot of work done to them to work best otherwise they are a waste, but even still it is not going to be much...

avenger is a good choice, also worth looking at the conquest too, they are a touch faster

if it were me i wouldn't use a clutch, why?... extra weight, the engine will need to be mounted...

you would want a 50" hull for that engine and you do not want to build it from MDF, it must be ply, 6mm for the engine rails and bulkheads and 3mm for all the sheeting

well they all have the same size bore and venturi

813A has primer bulb but no choke, also has an accelerator pump which is not needed anyway, never hear of anyone using this carb

257 has no...

the engine in the first one looks alot like a quickdraw 35cc which is a very good engine, the other 2 engines look like homelites, not as good as the quickdraw but still ok

also try and cut out the bit shown in my picture and weld the bits back together to get the header shorter, and also push the pipe right up to near the bend on the header but make sure it still seals...

yep you can mount it upside down, but you may need to run an external pulse like to the carby, take the carby off and get me a pic of the intake manifold so i can tell you for sure
