RE: Funtana X100

Thanks altamash, I will definitely look into a reversing y harness, I was just thinking it might be programmable because I had this programmed using my Hitec Optic 6.

RE: Funtana X100

Just a question for altamash rah. Exactly how did you program the dx6i to do the dual elevator servos. I have a funtana 90 and am purchasing a dx6i and was just wondering how i was going to program...

RE: Which Foamy!

I use dualsky 730 mah 20c batteries as well as a polyquest 800 mah 20c battery. This gives flight times of about 10 minutes of all out 3d. The batteries are pretty cheap around the 30-40 dollar range.

RE: Which Foamy!

That equipment would go nicely in a Sobre. You ight have to get smaller batteries but that is all. I have a Sobre with the same setup as you have there and it flies extremely well. All of that carbon...

RE: Hangar 9 Twist .40 questions.

Oh yeah, that engine will hover it. Slap a 12.25 x 3.75 prop on there and you are good to go. Just don't do any tail taps or you might snap it in half. That's what I did. It is a good plane for flat...

RE: search for 46 3d

The best 3d plane for a 46 is a profile. I have a 46 FX on a MOJO. Vertical is unlimited. Less than half throttle to hover and pulls out quick. As for prop, 12.25 x 3.75 is the best. The MOJO will do...

RE: $300 canadain foamy

Cool, another guy from saskatchewan. I got into foam and electric planes last year with a tensor 4d. It was kind of fragile. Are you looking for a flat foamy type or are you looking for an electric...

RE: Good Fun Fly

I had a twist and loved it. But if you want all out 3D in a 40 size plane I would go with a profile. I could suggest the MOJO. It is lightweight and will 3D awesome with a 46 AX or even better with a...

RE: Hangar 9 Twist 40

The twist is an awesome plane and there is a huge thread about it here on RCU. But if you are looking for a good 3d plane I would go with a profile. I would try the Mojo. I had the twist and flew it...

RE: anyone flying the hot rod by hobby lobby?

Holy man that is light weight. Mine is probably 9 oz. I never did nothing to keep weight down. I am running a park 370, 4 HS 55's and a big Polyquest 830 Mah battery. Yours must fly like a dream at...

RE: Funtana 90!

RE: eflite extra 260 or byp yak?

The Byp Yak is an awesome plane. I've got one and my good friend has the extra 260. The extra 260 will be able to fly in a confined space better than the byp yak. The extra is also a lot more rugged...
