The spec 3 is definately the more affordable option. I haven't herd too much about the picco at all. The nova just seems to be the one that caught my eye and now I can't stop looking at it!

Finally got my radar gun today and these are the top speeds i've got so far:

MLST- 19 mph
Duratrax evader pro- 21 mph
TNX on 9th tank- 34 mph

I'm going to try and get more trucks tested...

That is true hpi does give plenty of spares with there rtr vehicles. When I put reverse in my savage 25 I did not have to buy a new transmitter either so I would expect the same thing for the x.
