Thanks for the replies - I beleive it must be to do with the large wheels as the other MT that belongs to a freind has also stretched the ball end on one side after 1.5 tanks - he is coming in today...

JD - my MT has been bent 4 times from a couple of collisions and nose first jumps - I have straightened mine each time and dont beleive I have done any damage - also check the 4mm bolt at the front...
