Dynamite Pro tune brake linkage not clearing Losi 8ight body

I tried install this linkage on my Losi 8 RTR but since the adjustment knobs are on the outer side of the servo, there is no way I can fit my body to the car without cutting large holes. Has anyone...

RE: Trex SE Self Destructing

I guess I'm lucky. I've had my SE for a year now, and its been extremely reliable, haven't thrown a part yet, However I always do a pre-flight inspection and check for anything loose with my hex...

RE: Do not be Stupid like me :o(

I learned on a CP, just be patient, if flying indoors don't go higher than 3 feet or so,

RE: Using Hitec Optic 6 radio with Blade CP?

The crystals that came with optic 6 are probably dual conversion, single conversion crystals should work with eflite receiver. If you optic came with Spectra module just dial it to the same channel...

RE: Chinese T-Rex Knock off??? PHOENIX 450SE

Those are the parts that are supposed to break!!! Better than breaking main frames, swashplates, blade grips, see-saws, etc!!!

RE: what causes boomstrike?

Most likely your blades are too loose in their grips, that causes them to fold back on spool-down and hit the boom. Also loose head dampening can cause this-but thats usually when you land too hard

RE: Blade CP brushless battery run time

I have optic 6 computer radio. ESC cutoff set to 2.75 per cell. Run times measured to cutoff are as follows: TP 730 mah 6 min 29 secs, Eflite 800 mah 7 mins 42 secs, helidirect 1300, 15C budget...

RE: preflite blade cx-cp flight sim.

I have it, it was way too twitchy for me to fly the blade cp, I then got the clearview sim, that works much better.

Blade CP brushless battery run time

I just upgraded to the hdx 300 outrunner from helidirect and dual tail motor setup. The copter is more powerful but the run times have reduced by almost half and this is mostly hovering. I am running...

RE: Anyone loop their CX or CX2 yet?

While your hovering, had someone get a leaf blower turn on full blast, have them aim it at the top rotor. When it flips over, hit reverse and you'll be hovering inverted.

RE: Why 2.4 in CX but Not CP?

I you haven't already, try replacing the crystal. After a crash on my CX it glitched like crazy-replacing the crystal resolved the issue.

RE: Anyone loop their CX or CX2 yet?

Upgrade to a speed control w/reverse, then you should be able to fly the CX inverted. Get it inverted-use the wind to help you, then simply hit reverse on your TX and voila! YOu can now hover...

Why 2.4 in CX but Not CP?

If any of these copters could have used the 2.4, It seems it should have been the CP. I have the original CX and based on my experience, the 2.4 ghz would have added nothing. I haven't had any...

RE: Optic 6...CX help on set up

Make sure the frequency is correct. Then simply choose airplane mode and NOT heli mode. There is really nothing else you need to do other than trimming. Since this heli is fixed pitch. You'll have no...

RE: cell dead in the lipo????

Well, I think its safer to blow them up the way I said, then to try to take them apart and accidently short them on your workbench. Anyway, its not totally safe but it looks cool!

RE: cell dead in the lipo????

OK. Have a sense of humor. I've had a couple of batteries where a cell died. Tried taking them apart but it is tricky. Especially if the center cell is dead-which is most likely. I dont thinks its...

RE: cell dead in the lipo????

Alternatively, put the battery in the middle of your driveway and secure it with a cement block or heavy weight. Get a nicad charger with extra long lead and set it for 4 amps and proceed to charge....

RE: Parkzone Supermarine Spitfire Mk11B

Thats what I have a Stryker C for! I know the g forces destroy the frame, its just that a BL makes that much more likely.

to the other guy: Do search in the P51 and focke wulf threads for the...

RE: Parkzone Supermarine Spitfire Mk11B

A good lipo will greatly improve the performance. I would have reservations about installing a brushless though. These planes weren't designed for high speed, unlimited vertical, etc. If you search...

RE: Fly too high?

I also don't think it is as much of an issue with electrics as opposed to IC, since electrics don't require O2 to operate.

RE: Parkzone Supermarine Spitfire Mk11B

Dannysturbo-based on your rambling posts, I think you don't know how to fly.... at least parkflyers. I have Focke Wulf and love it. With a lipo it flies great and looks great. I've crashed it...

RE: smashed p51, what to do with electronics?

Go to Horizion Hobby's website, you can get a p51 airframe for $70, or Focke Wulf for $80. or Stryker for $60. Thats all you need to get in the air again if you have all the electronics

RE: ParkZone P-51 Mustang RTF

Sounds like something is out of alignment on the body. I noticed on my FW the horizontal stab is misaligned with respect to the wings, but it doesen't seem to affect the trim in level flight nor hand...

RE: ParkZone P-51 Mustang RTF

I have a FW 190, use with lipos. I've never had an issue with hand launching. I barely have to throw it and it does a steady climb with no dip at all. Also, I have never noticed any kind of "torque...
