I have never had a issue with temperature. the cylinder sticks out of the bottom of the cowl on the ultimate, so cooling has not beena issue for me.

Cap10b, what is the size of the 3 blade prop...

Ya I was adjusting it yesterday and that was the best reading I was able to get.
I have not rotated the carb yet, it is still in its stock location.
Is that the hopup kit you have?

I have been having a problem with the muffler loosing up on me for the past few time I have been flying. Not sure what else I can do, the bolts are recessed in so I can not put safty wire to hold...

Well it is just the field, so there are no hook ups, we have Electric at the shed and porta pottys on site, I think thats what they mean by primitive.

Well I have seen both engines run very well. My father has a DA50 on a 80" extra and it has a lot of power, I have also seen the DA on the Ultimate and it also has unlimited power for the plane.
