I was in error, I'm using the orion pack too and the voltage is 6.9v after charge. Dare I take all my regulators out!

Since Futaba and JR don't recommend operating servos above 6.0 volts, and a life battery will charge up to 7.2 volts, isn't there a risk of premature sevo failure?

Duane, If you want a resin that is clear and doesn't yellow you might want to try Aerospace Composite Products E-Z lam. It comes with two choices of hardener 1/2 hr. & 1 hr.

Actually there was a race in Woodland in September & there will probably be one in Sept. 2013. Quickie has changed in the last year, it now requires a spec engine which is the Jett 40 or 426 engine. ...

The QJ-2 is a Quickie Jett. It is the second generation of the cast case. Most people that run the Jett use the Merlin "red" plug. Not sure about Props.
