If the tx is only 5 channels, then NO you cannot use it. All modern radios use the 6th channel for aileron. On a bladecp/trex it goes like this:

Ch 1 - Aileron (one side)

Hey, i just got the Align TREX 450x/XL case. Its pretty nice, but not totally 100%. A little cheap on the construction, but it will work. Had to cut the transmitter area to fit my 7chp, but fits nice...

if you mean you have the antenna going through the metal skids (with little white plastic caps), then that may be the source of your interference.
