I can tell you how to tune them, how they run, how long the P&S will last, how long the rod should last,...

LOL...I'm not sure how ti answer that timing question. Olny thing I kmow is that the Power is timed for higher RPM's and the Torque is timed for more low end punch.

Timing on the OPS's is PERFECT !!! Great performance from top to bottom. It's truely a unique engine.[:-]

actually, some heads are one piece and some are two piece ( heatsink and button ). All depends on the motor.

Sonic, The carb should be kinda close, but you will have to teak it some.

SMan , well that's not hot. You may want to check to make sure your tank seal is air tight, you fuel filters are air...

We OPS driver run indoor/outdoor temps anywhere from 40-90 degrees. I think vapor lok in your (un-disclosed) motor is due to the motor itselfe being too HOT.
We tend to run COOL.

Some brands of motors do have different pitch of threads on the cranks. I'm not sure about the two you have. Just put that clutch back on the hyper motor, and buy a complete clutch for the new motor....

So far we have not had that problem. This might be because they run soo cool, and they produce great crankcase pressure.

all buggies are about the same when it comes to front and rear diff removal, but some centers are easier than others. Time removing those diffs depends on your experience level.

RB--- is a little faster, should last for more gallons, slightly harder to tune than OS.

OS--- is good speed and power, probably get a few...

ah... that explains it, my sceen dont have that button and its layed out a little different. I only have YM , no AIM.
