YS prop shafts are 8mm with a 8mm x 1mm thread, but the collet rides on the front beariing sholder witch is 3/8". So the bore of the collet is .375 not .312 (8mm).

I fly at 5000 feet, so we need to have good power. YS-63S engines with 11-8 propellers produce about 7 lbs of static trust, so it does not have unlimited vertical but will pull itself out of trouble....
