Hi guys,

Thanks for the replies,

Yes I'm aware of the bare pipe and nut that came with the motor. Unfortunately it will be too loud for my clubs restrictive noise rules.

I'm aware of...

YS 120 muffler?

Hi Guys,

I'm resurrecting an original YS .120SF and need a header/muffler combo for it.

Any thoughts? I'm leaning towards a stock 120 muffler from a newer YS or Saito.

Any...

Re: Schluter Heli info please

Well, that would all depend on which Schluter heli it is. They've made a few.

Fuel tank for OS .70 four stroke

Can someone recommend a good fuel tank size for the OS 70 four stroke.

I'd like to get ten minutes flying without having a bunch of extra fuel on board.

8-10-12 oz tank?

Thanks,

What setup is good for a profile to do 3D

Can anyone tell me the point of spoilers on a FF machine?

I've seen a couple references to it. One of which was for landing.

As far as I know ALL the JR 10 series radios have been "Aircraft specific".

Autorotation angle

The other thing CY taught me was to look at your collective stick just after you land. A sign of a good auto is if your collective stick is only at the half way point (3/4 for a 3d setup).

Try it....

Autorotation angle

Curtis taught me to keep the heli flat (horizontal) all the
way down.

The only time to pitch the nose down is to steepen the decent angle to make a spot landing.

Works for me.

must use dual conversion crystal with daul converion RX ?

YES! They must be DC crystals!

A dual conversion crystal is actually tuned "off-frequency" and the
Rx knows this. With a standard crystal the Rx won't "see" the correct channel.

Y.S. case cracking?

The case cracking in YS. 80's and 91's is very real. That's the bad news.

The good news is that it seems limited to guys running 8.45-1 or higher, who don't balance anything and are 3d'ing the...

New Heli section added to website.

Nothing would be wrong with it if it was on the cover of RCM or MHW, but it's not. It's on a website called "R/C Babes". A site that uses "babes" to sell advertising. Therefore there is a connotation...

Isn't 16 a bit young to be turned out as cheesecake?
