That is a amazing idea! For this 1/16 scale body I think it will work really well, definitely not on my 1/8 though lol.

Best recommendation is to get a better speed controller, and a 3S or even 4S lipo.

hehe I have had 3 I think? Might have 4 soon, but might this time just get a hyper 7 buggy. My very first buggy was a hyper 7 and I had alot of fun ripping it around.

Just get a spinstart backplate like the mach 427. That works perfectly fine from the back.

You encountering issues with wear? I would just leave them as long as they are not wearing out. If they are you basically insert shims in order for the gears to mesh tight enough to a point where...

Front is, full extended 11cm, completely compressed about 8cm. That is from screw to screw. The rear is 12cm extended, 9cm compressed.

5v receiver pack or rx charger. So basically any 5 cell charger. You can just get a wall charger from a hobby shop will work just fine. around $10-20 depends.

Only real issue with stock shoes is they tend to warp a bit out of shape not really wear. When they warp then they won't make as much contact.

I have 14T it seems to be perfect, the engine does not overheat and crap loads of all around power. Run a vented bell though. Not really for heat, but also the fact that clutch debris can escape.

IMO for throttle you want a very reliable servo for throttle duties. IMO z590m has been my favourite most reliable dependable servo for throttle duties.

Just get the sportwerks .26. Same as mach 427 but better carb.

you guys are way off 300oz or go home. Are you kidding lol I used a z590m for steering at one point and it turned on carpet I was like *** at 7v though lipo, BUT IMO if your on a budget for you low...
