My engine did the same thing a few weeks after getting my MT.
I replaced the gasket with a copper one and threadlocked the bolts in properly and It's been fine ever since.

I've had my MT5 for about 2 weeks now and it has seen some abuse.
I have had about 3 litres of fuel through it. When compared to the cost nitro fuel, I'm saving money already.
The stock plastic...

ACLazer, Your ST Looks great! In the video, it seems to handle much better than the MT on the black stuff.



No scuffs or scratches on the grass today, just a few new hairline cracks. :eek:

RE: removing dents from tuned pipes

I used a compressor to remove dents from 1/10 scale pipes, but you'd need some pressure to blow out steel or thicker ally on 1/5 scale pipes.

I always loctite metal on metal parts whether it's required or not, just to be sure!
Just keep the thread lock well away from barings and parts that need to move freely, It will clog up anything it...

Alloy Starter ratchet (just broke a plastic one today)
Better quality screws, nuts and bolts (I've rounded 4 hex heads this week)
Alloy or Carbon fiber radio tray (to stop it bending under heavy...

I'm actually playing with that idea, I only just bought my RS4 3 Evo before christmas and it's still in excellent condition, hopped up too.

Thanks for the input ppl! I'm making a list of parts to buy and it's filling up quite quickly.
Been for a spin with it and I'm very impressed. Done a few jumps and tore up the field near my house...

Thanks, yeah the pinion is plastic 16 tooth.
By drivetrain I mean everything from the gears and diffs to the axles.

I bought my MT5 off flebay, second hand for £600 including delivery, it is in near perfect condition...
