Jr X3810 ??

It has also been claimed that most of the 3810 models are set up for Mode 1 operation. This may not be true, but since it is well known that most fliers in the USA fly Mode 2 and most flyers...

New Radio's That Have Crow Capability??

The JR X347 and XP8103 have set-ups for butterfly, or crow configuration. I would imagine the 783 and 388 do as well.

Tailheavy - what to do

If all of the radio gear is mounted as far forward as possible, then there's really not too much more you CAN do but add weight at the mount.

Reversing JR servo

What transmitter are you using? It's possible , with some transmitters, to mix another channel with the elevator for a dual setup. That way you can reverse the second servo.

dowel pins or gussets

I would just use some triangle stock between the gear plate and fuse side. Should be plenty strong for a 40 size plane.

stab repair

More info is needed. Pics would be great.
What plane is it? Is the stab built-up or a solid sheet? Is it one clean break or more than one with ragged edges?

You may want to consider removing...

Bomb Drop

To drop the bombs you can use a couple of different techniques. One is to roll inverted. Another is to do an immelman, or a loop with an extended flat top to give the bomb time to drop out of the way...

Bomb Drop

Well, for a plane with a wing attached with rubber bands you could do this:

Get a popsicle stick or similar narrow strip of basswood or ply and a plastic (not styrofoam) Dixie cup (or similar).

C.g.

Anything you add, or leave off for that matter, not only affects the C.G. (balance point) but the wing loading as well. The plans should show a "C.G. range" as an elipse split into four quadrants. If...

Jr X-347 PCM C or Z

The 347 is compatible with PPM (standard FM) and Zpcm. I don't believe the SPCM receivers will work with it.

Tip on reversed controls

Another variation of the "turn and look over your shoulder" idea is just to turn the RADIO to point in the general direction the plane is pointed while not actually turning your body.

Not to sound flippant, but a T D lands just like a trike gear plane. The difference is, when you touch down in a flared attitude, all three wheels should touch at the same time. The biggest hurdle to...
