Is there a set of karbonite gears that would directly replace the metal gears in the 5925 servo?

RE: 9303 auto dual rate

You say "can assign" them to Stunt modes. Therefore, POS 0, 1 and 2 do not automatically map to NOR, ST1, and ST2 but must be "assigned" to a mode? The Aero programming maps the position to the FMs.

9303 auto dual rate

D/R screen. Righ hand side there is AUTO for NORM, ST1, and ST2.
The manual is very vague in regards to what this means.

Please explain the functionality of the AUTO dual rate....

RE: QQ 102" Yak - Discussion and Build thread

Which model of MTW cans are you using? What drop height on the header?
Would you take some pics for the curious people like me?

I am considering cans as opposed to mufflers.

Giant scale and 5998

Just read about this servo, 5998TG. Advertised as a car servo. Are there any reasons why it should not be used in a giant scale plane?
Thanks

servo arm ring

In the pics of the 8611A servo, the servo arm had a silver ring around the shaft that goes on the main gear. May these rings be purchased separately? If so, what is the part number?

RE: QQ 102" Yak - Discussion and Build thread

Which servos has each of you decided to use? The surfaces are very large, and I am debating if 5945s will be sufficient for heavy 3D on all surfaces.

Does anyone know when the video will be...

The plans I have show the CG at 6.5". Is this what most of you are starting or using?
Has anyone flown it at this CG and may comment on its stability and 3D capability?

Thanks

RE: Hitec 5955 problems

Under high load the servos will oscillate about 1/16 - 1/8" anywhere in their motion. This does not happen when there is no load.

The servos will sometimes lock for 1 second in full deflection.

Have you put any kind of force on the servos? Please hook them up to an elevator, aileron, or even better, a rudder pull-pull setup and test again. This is where jitters occur. This...

RE: JR 9X = 9303

Would those be the long skinny ones on front?
Can any other switch be used for FMs, such as a 2-way, or two 2-way switches to do three FMs?

Thanks
