I'd ask about shiping before bidding, this is a very big box, about as oversized as they get. Lebanon may cost a forture. But don't over bid, he'll have more listed, just keep trying.

Who was the seller? I think you at least need to let everyone know whom to avoid, and get some minor revenge. Although shippers always want to see the damage.... sounds like more of a shipper...

The plane sits on top of the long horizontal arms that point back-wards right? The short vertical pieces are enough to hold the plane to the frame? Does the plane just fly off the frame with out any...

I like the "spray foam the aft part of the fuselage" idea. Never thought of that. Any articles out there about that? The question is which foam to use the low or high expansion one?

After I asked that I found a site with a German made Discus at 158 inches wing span that lists it as 9 pounds all done. So maybe 9 pounds is a good starting point?

I'm not real strong in sailplanes and I understand slope soarer's need the weight to cut though the wind. But if lighter isn't better, why put light servos in this ship?? What final weight should we...

What instructions did you get? The two pages from mludwin/ Marty are helpful and I didn't get them a few weeks ago. And the color version PDF of the "plans" are better then the B&W paper one they...

Isn't that the tail from the 103" Wing Sailplane, Ventus? My Discus has a one piece stab wing, the whole thing moves.

Got the PDF he sent today, it is the same as the plan in the box but in color and you can enlarge it. All those black line on the printed one are a little confusing, the color helps clear things up....

Did you add a wheel? Or is that a shadow? If yes, which one? And what servos did you use? Anything you'd do different now in building? How is the tail servo attached? How are you holding the wings...
