Hey Thomas, I'm not sure of the time on the engine,I took delivery of the engine on a trade, but the man said he just sent it in to RTI and had a complete check up, he then ran the engine and it ran...

I also saw that the EGT was higher then what I'm used to, I saw 610c degress on idle and 730c at full power.....seems high to me, especially outside on a test bench..

yes I've heard the compression is up on these engines. I've talked to the guys @ LG motorsports and have told me that the "Procharger" is very friendly with the LS2...

I had the same problem, but I found out once all the air lines,cylinders, and retracts are pressurized, the valve worked great. I always kept some pressure in the system to prevent this happening....
