was this servo operating the elevator or the boost tab, ??? If the boost tab, it is quite big for the job, as an insight, on my 35% Yak 54, I installed a small hitec 81 servo directly controlling...

That will do it,

the reason for not going too small on servos, is not for the flight loads but rather because of vibrations, also if you do go small on the servo, make sure you mass balance the...

Boost tabs are very safe, if your airplane crashed because of the boost tabs, they weren't installed properly. Been using them for more then 20 years, never a problem ...

I use a regular ignition module but without the auto advance and make it fire continuously with a timer I made . As I said I now have them made with everything built in

I replace the glow plug with the same size spark plug, put a resistor (30 ohm) instead of the glow plug, no mods to the ecu or engine . easily put back the glow plug if you wish although I don't...

The other problem he mentions with glow plug, well I have solved this problem forever with a spark ignition I developped , works flawlessly... for what its worth.

For what its worth, I have had issues with the ECU , not because of magnets, but because the battery power wires were too close to the ECU, rerouted and problem solved , of course not this problem.

I agree in part but everytime you have a small glitch, you can't send the engine back, you need to learn about these engines otherwise you will never fly.

What I have done might mask the problem...

Yes I have access and this is what I will do next
I had the same problem with the 44 and it solved the problem but so far this has not , so I will try a bit more.

Thanks for the reply so far, it has never been in a crash and gear box seems to be running OK.

I have worked to the ramp up but still have too much fuel it would seem , also in flight, lets say...
