RE: Great Planes Combat Corsair and Mustang

No need for standard servos. I used hitech 81mgs. Weight is gonna take flying performance away and make landings even faster due to wingloading. Any reason why you want to use standard servoes?

RE: Great Planes Combat Corsair and Mustang

Landing on the grass is perfect for belly landing any plane. Just make sure its balanced right and it will slow down nice.

RE: Great Planes Combat Corsair and Mustang

Looks good. Did you cut the navy decals yourself? Also, do you have any servo problems landing without servo covers? I just cut up an old zagi canopy i had and it works great.

RE: Great Planes Combat Corsair and Mustang

Looks good! I flew 1 with a 25 in it and I like the electric alot better,it's faster, longer flight times, cleaner, can hear the airframe whistle, and you dont have to worry about how its running. I...

RE: Great Planes Combat Corsair and Mustang

RE: Funtana 90 Electric conversion

Yes I have graphtech gear. Go with a 53004s4pv or maybe a 4000 pack and a 17x8 prop draws 40 amps and stays cool. I get about 20 min easy on the 8000 but its a brick. Wont dare hover it cause the...

RE: Funtana 90 Electric conversion

I have the 40 with axi 4130/16 with 5s4pv 8000mah thunderpower. 18x10 prop 50 amps. Flys way heavy but has alot of power. I would say, go with that setup but alot lighter battery and you will love...

RE: Funtana 90 Electric conversion

How is the 8s setup doing? You are using the 4130/20? I would like to run with a 8 cell setup but I dont know how the 4130 size will handle it. That would be nice to use 8s instead of 10s. Less...

RE: Funtana 90 Electric conversion

I understand what your saying however, I will make it quick :>) , the plane needs 10 cells to have good 3d power and you want to keep the motor cool and amps down. The trick is to have high volts and...

RE: Funtana 90 Electric conversion

StephenT, the 4130/20 isn't made to handle over 8 lipo cells. Also, if a motor is rated for 8 lipo cells I wouldn't push it to the max, I would go with the next size bigger motor. Even though you...
