The Extra they were saying isn't made any more ,just the Yak,or both?To me the Extra was more pattern/3D then all out 3D like the Yak.Olin

The HS-55's will work also,they just don't have as much torque/speed ,durablity as the HS-65's.The Yak is pretty much the main foam plane I'm flying right now.Before this plane I was flying a foam...

The way I fly I get about 6-7min. As far as the Hacker,it's just what I like ,but any 200 watt motor will fly it the same,just get something you are comfortable with using in the 200 watt range.Olin

Cook,My Yak came in at just under 19oz.with a 1320 3S battery.If you wanted to drop another oz.,you could take off the Landing gear,it would save you 1.1oz.As far as cheap batteries,someone else...

Scott,sounds like a winner.On my Flash,I think it took a dime and nickel to get the lateral balance right.I put the battery on it,and then used a string with long needles on the end of them ,put one...

It comes with aluminum rods for the fuse and the wings.I replaced them with CF,really makes the plane stiff.Olin

If you are new to 3D,you are on the right track thinking foam.EPP like the Super Zoom or the Flash,OMP Extra Stiffy.There is a learning curve when learning 3D and crashing is part of the program,EPP...
