GP Super Sport 40 or 4 Star 40?

I just flew my fourstar 40 for the first time and I'd definetly recommend it. It was no harder to put together than my ARF trainer and it sure is a lot more fun to fly! Building and flying quality...

I'm still a newbie to the soaring world but 13.5oz seems rather heavy to me for this size of HLG. Most seem to be around 10-11oz or less, but I've never flown one so maybe I should let somebody else...

Poll--Which covering do you use and why?

I'm in the same boat as shortman, only covered one plane and I used monokote. It seemed to work okay, I've got some Goldberg transparent lightweight stuff waiting to put on my glider.

You may want to try http://www.airliners.net they don't have 3-views but you should find a good selection of photos for almost any aircraft (including the SU-26). Great for finding colour schemes or...

Thanks again for all the input guys, I recieved my order of wood from Lonestar today (BalsaUSA didn't have all the right stuff) and it's great! No cracked or broken pieces etc.
