Hmmmm.... wish I knew about that motor before I spent 15 times the price for the graupner Speed 300 unit at my LHS. Perhaps I'll work on a Predator UAV model (see March 2002 Model Airplane News). ...

Good question. It is the green one that Great Planes packages with the 'Eco-drive 300' that also included the Graupner Speed 280 and the 10 x 4.7 prop. It looks most similar to the Horst drives...

I bought and flew a Simprop/Great Planes Albatros using a Speed 280, 5:1 gear drive and a 10 x 4.7 APC slowflier prop. The plane leaped off the ground, climbed up to 4 feet and would go no higher.
