I don't think the shift point should be adjusted for downshifting back to first gear. I know some people that have used diff. lube in their front and rear differentials to help slow down the truck...

I had the same issue with the shift point on mine, I read that you should turn the screw in until you feel resistance of it seating then back it out 6 or 7 turns. You do not want to tighten it down...

I just re-routed the fuel tubing and it quit flooding the engine. I had put new fuel lines in and had in a direct line to the carb. So I figure that with what pressure is in the tank it was...

IMO get rid of the reverse gear all together and install the forward only conversion. Unless you are dead set on keeping the reverse, you will get more from your engine and less headaches from...
