RE: Walmart Submarine = Cool !

It comes in a tube from Home Depot or Lowes. You need a caulk gun to caulk it onto a piece of of wood or carboard. Then take a small stiff brush and put it on.

RE: Walmart Submarine = Cool !

The water limits the signal due to its density..i.e. the signal can't penetrate except to certain depths. This is also affected by salt water, mineral content AND the amount of clorine in your pool....

RE: Walmart Submarine = Cool !

Look at the wires coming out of the black receiver box and the hoses around them. If motors leak, the water can get up in there also. Further, the receiver can look dry and the circuits still be...

Another idea you might try is to cut off the props on the left/right...

RE: Walmart Submarine = Cool !

Use the GE Silicone II, RTV AROUND the hoses. I've never seen a need to do this for depths down to 10-15 feet. 15 feet is the deepest I've taken one. People who have taken them to 20 feet in test...

I recommend you silicone everything, motors, reciever and hoses. More lose their sub to not siliconing than just about anything else when they go below 3 feet.
