Has anyone ever built a pushboats hull out of thin gauge steel? I want to build one about 42 inches long and 15 inches wide. Any thoughts welcome.

Its been over two years ago. thanks for the info. The deck can be salvaged but i was hoping to completely re do it. First one was my first attempt.

Thank you! I have just got the urge to start on the pt 109 again. Whats up with dumas? Are they going to abs instead of fiberglass?
