RE: Dark Impact - Lunchboxer style..

Heh, i think it was 50HKD, which was what my DI had on it.

RE: Having trouble installing "on-off" switch from ESC to TT-01 chassis

Just have it wedged between something to fit in the gap, or just floating around the inside. It isn't a big deal, you don't really need on-off switches much anyway.

RE: Nomadio Sales

Right, so i can just imitate a rep on some forums to stop people buying my opponent's product. Sweet :)

RE: Any idea when the 2.4 DSM 3PKS is coming out?

I wouldn't bother with the spektrum module, just get the FASST system (futaba 2.4ghz)

RE: oh no!

Lies, Tamiya is known to have the best shocks made. Even most of the Xray drivers run TRF shocks :)

RE: Anyone got a TA-05R?

TA05R is pretty much a hopped up TA05. All TA05 parts will fit it.

RE: Plastic Milling Service?

CT4L used a bandsaw iirc, but you could use a hacksaw.

RE: I'm back RURC is in the house

Lunchboxer's Lounge has been closed, not sure when it'll be open again. Too many warnings from mods, sadly.

Traxxas announced some RTR brushless, rusty and pede iirc. New Velinion systems in...

RE: Guide to electric motors.

A lot of brushed motors can go very fast for half the price of brushless, just it costs in maintainence and runtime.

RE: Pics of my E-Savage & Home-made power supply

Your local electronics store should have the banana leads... Radioshack probably will, although i've never set foot in one :)

RE: Official Dark Impact Thread

Reciever is the same size, probably smaller if it's the airtronics super micro one.

You don't need the 3ch, but the computerized features are a big help sometimes.

RE: Can someone work out the MPH please

It's not the real speed, just the theoretical. I'd take off at least a few mph because of friction.

RE: Dark Impact Truggy build thread

Nice, but i think you need some support on the top halves of the gearboxes, might be a bit weak like that atm, it looks like you've only got the bottoms on?

RE: Old RC10B 4

Servo wiring depends on the brand. Are there any wires coming out of the servo at all, and what colors? and order.

RE: Dark Impact Truggy build thread

NICE! I like the custom chassis, i was just expecting some longer arms (maybe evader or something?) and big wheels.

Have you looked at the way the avante motor was mounted? That'd be a lower CG.

RE: new traxxas brushless

You don't need dual brushless, one decent (in power, not quality) motor like a feigao 8xl or 9c or something is almost too much..

RE: Hotbodies D4 vs. Academy SBV2 Carbon

Hmm, is less than a week (usually around 4 days) too long? I'd seriously consider it.

The SB buggies are all pretty durable as well, from what i've heard about the past designs.

RE: Tamiya DF-02 With mamba max 7700 and 2s lipo.

You can't really use stock gearing at all, sorry. Stock gearing is for the silver can which comes with the kit... a brushless mamba motor is far too different. I'd go at least 3 teeth down on the...

RE: LUNCHBOXERS LOUNGE

Eman- does your Bosscat have an adjustable chassis to tension the belt? My turbo rocky does (it's a chain drive), about five screws under the chassis to push the rear section forwards or backwards.

RE: DF03 or TL01B best for a custom Buggy?

Yes, you do need a slipper clutch.

hold off the aluminium, you'll probably just break chassis pieces. The only bits you really need are hubs.

The DF-03 is aeons ahead of the TL-01 in...
