I personally prefer G3 over XTR...the reason is simple....G3 comes with its own transmitter....XTR requires you to use your own transmitter,which i dont care for....I spend AT LEAST 2 hours a night...

It really boils down to your style of flying and what you want to do with the heli....If you are an average sport flyer then the servos and gyro you mentioned will work just fine,they will even work...

Look for the Heli's Gone Wild videos on heliproz and Ricks...lots of footage of some of the wildest 3D imaginable with a heli.
