Thanks arcticflyer...I vacumme mold my own hatches but I dont think it would work as good on your wide body stryker...The FG hatch you mentioned would be a better...Kool idea on the wide body...

Ive never tried the Sig Koverall but 1.25oz seems on the heavy side at about the same cost as FG...If you was only doing the bottom of plane it would be ok cuz its flat...doing the top would...

Most people think you need high grade glues...you really dont cuz it will only be as strong as the foam your glueing to...Kinda wondering...why did you glue each side of the bay?...

Solder it back on using Zinc Solder along with Aluminum Flux with low temp iron...Regular electrical solder wont work...

I should also mention when soldering directly to the studs on motor I use a damp sponge to kool it off rite after soldering...heat gets transferred inside motor thru studs so dont get it too...
