The best avenue for you is to find a Nelson/Performance Specialties piston and sleeve set, which won't be easy. Performance Specialties has no more.
They were made a few years ago by Henry Nelson...

Looking at the most recent list from the Rossi website, it seems all of the offerings are side exhaust. The US importer, Rossi Engines USA, shows the same.

Root rib Le= 1/2", 12mm

Root rib length= 10 1/4", 261mm

Tip rib Le= 3/8", 9mm

I have an original Direct Connection kit that is unassembled. I checked and you are correct, the TE of the ribs are constant. LE tapers.

Just call Henry. He offers a .60 and .65 FISE. Very smooth running, typical Nelson build quality. 8 bolt head, AAC sleeve and piston.

I have flown endurance models with a .40 diesel. Fuel consumption is an average of 1 ounce per 10 minutes @ 45-50 mph. My MVVS .61 diesel was about 8 minutes per ounce.

Nelson makes a great .61 and .65 along with his .40s.
Nova Rossi offers .15's, .21's, .50's and .61's. The .21's are exceptional.
